Wildflower Planting
Planting is a difficult art in a garden. You need to consider many things, including the site, soil, aspect and wind direction. As plants have evolved over time, they will only flourish in a suitable environment, where they will then require little attention. The next step is to arrange them in a pleasing way, in terms of contrast, texture, shape, size and colour. Remember that foliage will stay looking good for most, if not all, of the growing season, while flowers are far more ephemeral, providing only short-term splashes of colour.
